Plant-based dairy options have drastically improved in recent years - and the milk choices are almost endless. And now you can also have real dairy, without the cow. Cheese, ice cream, yogurt - it's all available and tastes great. Even animal-free eggs are just around the corner.
Using biotechnology, yeast-like microflora are given a genetic “blueprint” that allows it to ferment sugar and create real dairy proteins, like casein and whey. These proteins are made using the same safe and proven fermentation techniques used in many common food components - like vitamins and natural flavors. It's a very similar process for animal-free eggs.
Animal-free dairy and eggs are produced sustainably - using less water, energy, greenhouse gas emissions and land. This means: Cruelty-free products without the use of factory farms, and free from hormones, lactose, cholesterol, and pathogens that can make our food unsafe.
